Because getting married is not something you do everyday here is some useful information that may come in handy and help make the process a little easier and less stressful. Also some information on the most frequently asked questions from our customers.

How long will my order take from when I place my order until I receive it?

You should allow approximately 6 to 8 weeks from ordering your stationery for delivery from when you order. We are able to give you an estimated delivery date once we have received the order details.

Can I meet you in person?

Yes, by arranging an appointment it is possible to meet to discuss what your looking for and also to see the ranges that we have available.

How will I receive my order?

Your order will be sent to you by recorded delivery and will need to be signed for. Once order has been dispatched a confirmation email will be sent to you. If you don't have an email address a contact telephone number will be taken which will only be used by Cara Wrights Invites to contact you and will not be given to any third parties. The other option is by pick up if you live locally.

What if my order is faulty?

Here at Cara Wrights Invites we try our utmost to make sure that the order is perfect but if due to some error there is a fault we will try our best to resolve the issue without any stress for our customers. How do I pay for my order?

Payment for orders should be made by cheque and made payable to Cara Wright.

More useful information

If you decide to choose your own wording here is a checklist of all the details that are essential for your wedding invitation:
  1. Name of brides parents
  2. First name of bride
  3. Title, first and surname of groom
  4. Location of ceremony
  5. Time, date, month and year of ceremony
  6. Location of reception
  7. Address to which guests should reply

Evening invitations are the same as the day invitation but instead of adding the details of the ceremony you only add the details of the reception. You may also want to add the dress code for the reception if there is one.

We advise that you order a few extra invites just to make sure you have a few spare incase you run out. If you do run out then extras can be made but may have an additional charge.

We also advise that you should include a map to the location of the ceremony so that your guests don't get lost and also include where they can park to make the day as easy and as stress free for you and your guests as possible.

If you are inviting children along with parents then this should be made clear to the parents. If they are invited then the children's names should be included on the invitation.

Invites are sent from the host, this is usually the brides parents or depending on the family circumstances you may decide to be the host of the wedding yourself.

Traditionally your invitations should be sent out at least 6 weeks before your wedding but most couples usually send a couple of weeks earlier than this just to be on the safe side.

The Order of Service cards are usually one per guest but can be shared between the guests (two guests per one Order of Service card). When ordering your Order of Service cards remember to order one for the minister and if you have a choir then they to will require a card also.

Your invitations can be ordered separately from the rest of your stationery (Order of Service, menus, placement cards and table plans) as you may still have not decided on the final details of your wedding.

Hope this information helps and if you do have any further enquiries then feel free to send me an email or give me a call and i would be happy to help the best i can.
